High Holy Days Food Drive with JFS Food Pantry/Harvesters

Every year, we ask members of our B’nai Jehudah family to donate food to those in need during the High Holy Days. Even during the pandemic, we collected several thousand pounds of life-sustaining food – as the need for assistance rose higher in our community due to circumstances outside of anyone’s control.
This year, we continue our annual High Holy Days Food Drive, with the addition of JFS Food Pantry. Please help us gather as much non-perishable food as we can to feed our neighbors in the greater Kansas City area through both of these exceptional organizations.
Our food drive begins on Rosh Hashanah. Please fill up your own grocery bags using the list below, and return food at any in-person service, or leave it in the food barrels located just outside B’nai Jehudah’s main entrance by September 19 (Sukkot).
